    psi  is looking for a School Psychologist/Psychology Assistant to provide services in a non-public school in Toledo City School District.  The ideal candidate will be compassionate, knowledgable and a team player who is looking to make a difference in a child's life.  This opportunity can be Full Time or Part Time or on a case by case basis for the 2018/2019 school year!

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI)/ Intervention Assistance Teams
    • Multi-factored evaluation and IEP activities
    • Individual or small group counseling for students
    • Social and academic skills training programs
    • Preparation and submission of accountability data including Case Reports/MFE Team Reports, summaries of services, and periodic progress reports for students receiving school psychology services

     

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in School Psychology or Master's in Clinical Psychology is required
    • Must have experience with cognitive, achievement and behavioral assessment instruments
    • Must posess excellent communication skills with staff, parents and students. 
    • License to practice in the State of Ohio preferred but not required.
    • Must be well-versed in applicable state and federal law
    • Experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
    • Collaborative, constructive team building skills are required
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members. 
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and use sound judgment in all aspects of the job
