    psi  is looking for a Marketing and Development Assistant to join our growing team!

    psi's  Marketing and Business Development Department provides organization wide concepts to support current partnerships, promote future relationships and drive new business. This position is responsible to assist in the creation, development, organization and implementation of the overall marketing, business development and generational strategies in order to meet corporate business and marketing objectives.


    Among the professional duties of this position are the following:


    • Aid in the identification, creation, and market opportunities through guidance from the director about the strategic positioning of PSI’s assets, media assets, and departmental programming in order to achieve the goals of PSI
    • Maintain prospective client list for local, state and national targeted markets through upkeep of mail chimp and company CRM
    • Review and understand marketing spreadsheets and various related marketing reports
    • Assist with the organization and scheduling of PSICertify, First Aid/CPR, Safety Violence Prevention and all prevention/intervention programs
    • Monitors and maintains content calendar and marketing efforts for each departments’
    • Assists each department coordinator/supervisor to drive department program initiatives and plans through director’s guidance
    • Event management duties including travel arrangements, hotel accomodations, conference room reservations, organization of the event as well as attendance as needed
    • Coordinates office luncheons/events
    • Assists directors / supervisors in copying and collating handouts for trainings/presentations
    • Assists directors with organizing their supervisor trainings and employee orientations as needed
    • Assist with webinar scheduling, advanced organization of and implementation on the day of
    • Other duties as assigned



    • BA or BS degree (with emphasis in marketing or business - preferred)
    • Experience in sales, education, strategic marketing, event planning, and/or budgeting
    • Knowledge of marketing and advertising and working knowledge of the media industry highly desirable
    • Knowledge of educational needs in schools preferred
    • Event planning experience preferred
    • Well-developed oral and written skills
    • Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
    • Reporting, analyzing, and data entry skills
    • Highly successful in organization of systems
    • Ability to effectively communicate through spoken and written means
    • Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc) and Google Doc skills
    • Knowledge of mail chimp or related mailing lists
    • Experience working with customer databases
    • Flexibility to attend conferences/ trade shows as needed
    • Some overnight travel may be required
