    PSI is looking for a Top Employee to join our Top Workplace team as a PHYSICAL THERAPIST to support schools in Eastern Cuyahoga County including Euclid, University Heights, Cleveland, Highland Heights, Parma, Mentor and surronding areas.   Hours available range from 1-15 hours a week with multiple school locations being available.   Services must be provided during school hours and schedule will be set for the entire school year.

    Responsibilities

    The Physical Therapist works on the acquisition of/or compensations for deficits in fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills.The School Physical Therapist develops, implements and coordinates a physical therapy program within the school.  Duties include:

    • Providing screening, evaluation and intervention services.
    • Working with students with disabilities and serious health impairments, the physical therapist is expected to analyze risk, problem solve effectively.
    • Demonstrate a high level of professional judgment when recommending and providing services, making environmental modifications and consulting with staff to manage physical needs at an appropriate level.

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Physical Therapy 
    • Must be licensed as a  Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio
    • Ohio Department of Education License Preferred but not required
    • Must be well-versed in applicable state and federal law
    • Collaborative, constructive team building skills 
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and use sound judgment in all aspects of the job

    If hired, candidate must complete a BCI/FBI Background check and be in compliance with Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3301-20-01.
