    PSI is looking for an energetic, passionate and dedicated Payroll Clerk to work wiht our Payroll Manager in our Twinsburg Administrative Office.  This person will support our Payroll Department with data entry, tracking of timesheets and day to day operations for over 1000 employees.  In addition to a fun work environment and a competitive salary, we offer Health and Prescription benefits, 401k, Paid Holidays and a generous PTO Program.

    • Reviews employee time-sheets and confirms with department managers and supervisors for completeness and accuracy of the time-sheets when needed
    • Manages payroll related forms and information such as W-4, garnishments, pay rate change forms, and other payroll deductions
    • Responsible for responding to payroll, timesheet, and benefit related questions from employees and management
    • Handles new employee direct deposit and I-9's as well as tracking and data entry
    • Performs benefits data entry, assists with claims resolutions, change reporting, unemployment reporting and communicating benefit information to employees
    • Provides state and government reports as required
    • Other duties as needed


    The successful candidate will possess the following:


    • AA degree required. Five years of accounting or payroll clerk experience may be used in lieu of degree
    • Previous high volume data entry experience required
    • Experience with 10 key and basic accounting experience required
    • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as the ability to run reports and customize reports on demand
    • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
    • Basic bookkeeping knowledge required.
    • Knowledge of payroll regulations such as federal and state wage and hour laws helpful
    • Ability to exercise discretion in all transactions, maintaining confidentiality in all communications and job duties
    • Must be comfortable taking inbound calls from employees
